Sesame prawn toast

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g raw prawns
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 spring onion
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 200 ml vegetable oil, for frying

Method
 

  1. Blend the prawns with the egg white, soy, sesame oil, cornflour and spring onion to a paste.
  2. Spread the paste thickly over the bread.
  3. Press the paste side into the sesame seeds to coat.
  4. Fry paste-side down in hot oil until the prawn is pink, then flip to crisp the bread.
  5. Drain and cut each slice into triangles.
